Version: CATraxx 6.22
"Great app but not without drawbacks"
Pros: A very nice music organizer. I have already tried many of similar apps and come to the conclusion that CATraxx is the best. What I like most of all in this program is that it's totally customizable.
Cons: I have noticed one very serious drawback: CATraxx doesn't support Cyrillics as well as other non-English alphabets as I suppose. Unfortunately FNProgramvare are not going to improve their software from this point of view.

"FEATURE RICH, MS-ACCESS DATABASE WITH TOP NOTCH SUPPORT"
Pros: Non proprietry database format, packed with features (many can be user customised). The developer (Fredrik) pays close attention to what end user wants. There are many interfaces provided through import, export and reports.
The user forum is very active and will provide help on most aspects of the program. * HOWEVER * Be warned that use of CATraxx is seriously addictive.
Cons: The focus of the program is on albums and tracks, what this means is limited functionality if you want to focus on songs. You cannot model a track as a performance of a song.
For example, in CATraxx you may have 10 albums with the track "Let It Be", each of those ten tracks will have a composer credit of "Lennon & McCartney". With a song based approach, the ten tracks will relate to just one song with the composer credit.

"Great product - tremendously configurable - can't go wrong!"
Pros: I've tried a number of other music catalogue programs. CATraxx has eneded up being my favorite. After a few yeas of use I now have approx 1,000 CDs and LPs entered. My music tastes span classical, jazz, bachelor pad, pop, and rock. I've been able to configure the system to support all types of music. In my classical lists, I've developed techniques to track by composition. For my MP3 music I've got it categorized and classified as well. Great product.
Cons: Native support for classical compositions would be great.
