"Perfect program to create CDs from FLAC files"

    February 1, 2011  |   By MJG1129

    Version: Burrrn 1.14 beta2

    Pros

Easy to use; works as advertised; simple interface; FREE!

    Cons

It once read a cue sheet wrong and I needed to uininstall and re-install it to get it working correctly again.

    Summary

Highly recommended - works great and it's FREE. Could not understand why Windows Media Player and winamp do not have the built in ability to create CDs from ogg and Flac files. A very simple task handled simply. Thanks very much to the authors' generosity in sharing this.

    "Couldn't be easier"

    December 18, 2010  |   By mdb1952

    Version: Burrrn 1.14 beta2

    Pros

This program is one of the simplest burning programs around. It burns everything and I've never had it fail.

    Cons

Sometimes it chokes on adding a Mu3 file but you can just add the songs themselves rather than the disc file.

    Summary

I've burned hundreds of CDs and never had a problem with this program. Very simple and clean interface. Despite what others here might say this is a very good, free program to burn CDs.

    Updated on Dec 18, 2010

Sorry for the typo....that's supposed to be M3u file not Mu3 file.

    "Version 1.14 Completely Broken"

    October 23, 2010  |   By Arythmael

    Version: Burrrn 1.14 beta2

    Pros

    Interface looks nice and clean.

    Cons

No functionaity. Does nothing. Went out the door completely untested.

    Summary

Burrrn does absolutely nothing. Windows XP or Windows Vista, I drag and drop a WAV file that Pro Tools has bounced as a 16-bit 44.1kHz Stereo Interleaved WAV file and Burrrn just sits there and does nothing whatsoever.

Same thing if I click the Add button and choose the file. File is on the same disk as the program, I am administrator, this is the latest version 1.14 (as of this writing).

    It's junk.

I've installed CDBurnerXP and Droppix (on the XP machine) and they both add and burn these files without a problem.

Maybe you folks have an earlier version, before it was completely broken beyond any semblance of usability.

"Very effective little program - worth the download"

    August 30, 2009  |   By derek31a

    Version: Burrrn 1.14 beta2

    Pros

Great if you have an image with a .cue file - just drag and drop the .cue file

    Cons

I haven't found a way to save a file - you burrrn straight to disc

    Summary

I've had a few problems lately burning music with Nero 8 (buffer overrun), Burrrn is so much easier and just as quick.
It is a lovely little program that I have no problems recommending. Give it a try.
