This CD and DVD burner works as advertised, but the bundled toolbar it installs reduces its appeal. Burn4Free CD & DVD lets you burn audio discs or write data to CDs and DVDs by dropping audio or data files into the main window.
The button-heavy main window has a somewhat awkward look, but it's easy enough to understand. If you find yourself overwhelmed by the multitude of controls, you can switch to the more streamlined Easy mode. Be aware that the app attempts to install the NavExcel toolbar, which changes the way IE behaves when you mistype a URL or enter one of NavExcel's recognized keywords into the address bar.
Budget-minded users may not care, but even they have plenty of other cheap and free options. We'd prefer to burn discs with our jukebox of choice or pay for a more full-featured, less invasive application.

Burn data and audio from different file types (WAV, WMA, MP3, OGG, FLAC, WavPack, and CDA). Burn and save ISO files, open and save your project to disk, verify content, print compilations, copy DVDs, and import your audio compilation from M3U and ASX playlists. The drives supported include dual-layer DVD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM (SCSI, IDE, EIDE, and USB 1.0 and 2.0).

Pros: Nothing really nothing
Cons: Crap interface sneaky tool bar this is the worst piece of software I have ever seen! Avoid this at all cost.

Pros: Nothing. Did not even use as it was flaged as malware.

Pros: Nothing...I uninstalled almost immediately.
Cons: PC Tools Threat Fire AV product tags this as a Trojan Horse threat.

Pros: Did not even try it...
Cons: The toolbar issue made me cautious about it but I downloaded it anyway. From the sound of the EULA there are pop ups in it so I ditched it.

"POS... What is this... a joke??"
Pros: It looked like a no. 1 download hit... but
Cons: Piece of Crap. Forced installation of a toolbar that acts more like adware. "Uninstall sperately"... crap. Doesn't uninstall, just hides it. Who MANDATES the installation of components not critical or FUNCTION of the app...???
Don't bother with the DL...
