From Burn4Free :Burn4Free CD and DVD is a burning solution that's compatible with more than 3,000 DVD and CD burners. Burn data and audio from different file types (WAV, WMA, MP3, OGG, FLAC, WavPack, and CDA). Burn and save ISO files, open and save your project to disk, verify content, print compilations, copy DVDs, and import your audio compilation from M3U and ASX playlists. The drives supported include dual-layer DVD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM (SCSI, IDE, EIDE, and USB 1.0 and 2.0).
Note: This download installs additional Internet Explorer toolbar that can be uninstalled separately at any time from within the browser. Version 4.1 adds some improvements and optimizations.

"Avoid. Cannot be installed with NavExcel malware being installed as well"
Cons: Burn4free works fine, but unfortunately you have to install "Burn4free Toolbar" before you can install the application. This toolbar is actually NavExcel. NavExcel is a search hijacker that will redirect your web browser to unwanted sites.

Version: Burn4Free CD and DVD 4.1
Pros: I have used this and am downloading it again. It is a good software in the works of being improved. It is free so one should not complain, it is no easy task creating software and I suppose you cannot please everyone. I was very pleased with the earlier editions and this can only be improved.
Cons: I found it difficult to use with writing DVD's, but this was with earlier software. Perhaps now that has been improved and from what I see it has been, so am willing to give it a go again. never dismiss a software merely because you either do not understand how to use it, or it is a work in process. It all takes time and if you do not have that time (the world may end tomorrow you know) then do not use it to begin with.

Pros: have tried Nero and found it to be very slow and not very user friendly , however since downloading this program have found it to be very fast and user friendly.
suits my needs perfectly
