Version: Burn4Free CD and DVD 2.7
"Useless, COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME"
Pros: Toolbar removal is easy, but installation is forced during program-install
Cons: Does not perform as intended, does not burn an audio CD from .mp3 files, poor graphic user interface (GUI), difficult adding/removing files from to-be-burned file list, forces user to install its toolbar during program-install, lags computer and program during change of settings/preferences

Version: Burn4Free CD and DVD 2.7
Pros: Didn't get to use program; see warning below.
Cons: After installing Burn4Free I got this message from ZoneAlarmPro:
"This program enables a remote user to control your computer. It runs in the background and opens a back door on your computer. The back door allows an unauthorized remote user to connect to and access your computer, circumventing your computer's security. When you connect to the internet, this program notifies the remote user that your computer is vulnerable. This program may also have built-in tools used to manage your files, run executables on your computer, control your mouse and CD tray, screens, and retrieve passwords, keystroke, and screen shots.
This program enables a remote user access to your entire computer and everything on it.
This program is a major security threat. The program includes server software that allows a remote user to connect to your computer and have complete access and control over it.
It is recommended that you delete this application immediately because it constitutes security and privacy risks, and has no known usefulness."

Version: Burn4Free CD and DVD 2.7
"Easiest-to-use software I ever seen from the get-go."
Pros: Small on HD and RAM; drag-and-drop (too easy!); tells you how much time and/or Mg/Gb used in selected files; burns ANY CD/DVD (except a few protected); fast and accurate burn; reoraganize burn list before burn; even burns CD-RW and can leave unfinished for adding music later; remembers previous burn lists so you can remix new burns later.
Cons: Ummmmmm...It's free?

Version: Burn4Free CD and DVD 2.7
Pros: Despite all the negative reports about spyware/virus alerts popping up, backdoor invasions, security threats, problematic downloads, and various other annoyances, I reluctantly downloaded this program. And what I found out was this: None of that stuff is true. I'm running some of the finest security programs available and if there were any threat, then I would know about it. If these people are experiencing problems, then it's something unrelated to "burn4free 2.7". After I downloaded the program, I spent the next 3 hours backing up, copying, burning, etc., using this program, and I encountered no problems whatsoever. It's a very easy to use, user friendly, and quite versatile program. I tried backing up my music file(295 songs)to one DVD using windows media player, but it wouldn't do more than 20 songs without overloading on space. But using "burn4free", I copied all 295 songs onto one DVD with just the click of a button. It's a really good program, with a lot of desirable features that are usually found only in higher end software. I haven't had time to explore all the features yet, but my advice is to download it, play with it, and enjoy it.
Cons: The only thing that I've come across so far is the "finalize" option. It says you can choose to finalize the disc, or not, in case you might want to add more stuff later. Thus far, I haven't been able to de-activate the finalization of the disc. But, that probably needs a bit more exploring on my part.
