Version: Burn4Free CD & DVD 2
Pros: Seems to be stable, works well and it's easy to use.
Toolbar uninstalls if you don't want it and the software still works.
I also ran several spyware/adware programs and there was nothing to concern me, obviously i'd recomend you do the same.
Cons: There is a toolbar for you to uninstall once you've installed this program.

Pros: none
Cons: Couldn't copy my home DVDs so couldn't make copies - useless.

Version: Burn4Free CD & DVD 2
"Fast & easy but gets confused"
Pros: This is a very good choice for burning CD's in any format AND for burning BASIC DVD archives. Minor nags in the bottom right corner don't intrude on the work you are doing and the price can't be beat. A welcome relief from ROXIO and similar hogs that take over ;your drives and cause multiple problems even if uninstalled!
Cons: The program has a problem keeping files and folders sorted when importing via drag-and-drop. when you drag a bunch of files/folders into the assembly window, burn4Free oftem places the last few items in the selection inside another folder instead of in the correct location. A bit of care and planning when you drag files/folders will help to avoid this "bug". Also, the online help is sorely lacking in many areas although it is rarely needed.
