"great software"

Pros
its amazing how much more 3d the desktop could be and make it that much more customizable adding a 3d effect and a whole new level of usability to your desktop, actually giving you more space
Cons
it does need some work there are a few things that I used to do that I can not do while it is running, there is not near enough widgets to this software

great idea but the implication could use some work but now that Google has it im sure they will make some improvements, which makes it that much more exciting

I tried this a while back and personally as i didn't have a touch screen i thought it was pretty useless for productivity. I think even with the use of touch it wouldn't be any more productive as opening folders full screen is faster and easier.
Summary
I can see BumpTop has some great ideas and maybe now Google have aquired it they'll improve it, i just think right now it isn't well enough developed to be seriously useful, i got bored with it in about 10 minutes. It made me realise too how little i actually interact with my desktop typically - and that is pretty much never !

Turns your desktop into a 3d enviroment where you can use 5 planes to place what ever you need...Allows you to pile icons on top of each other..Works well with windows 7.
Cons
Only has a few widgets...could use more...would have been nice if it had more options..but is great for being simple.
Summary
I would suggest ya try this one out for sure.....maybe the authur could later make it single click instead of the double click.....3dna has more of the 3d enviroment but will not work with windows 7.

With this one you love it or hate it. I downloaded this wanting a more efficient file spread and operation on my desktop, but this is actually slow and requires too many clicks to choose what I actually want to do with a file. Definately not for a slow pc, my laptop is fast but this still not realy efficient for me. Good app for people who would really enjoy this theme though!

1-Cut & Past function cannot be use on files from My Documents to another folder on the desktop
