ignore all the rubbish comments about Bullguard being rubbish we bought two three user licenses on two disks for £15 for each 3 user disk. cheap and cheerfull on amazon. we havent had any serious problems as yet running windows XP pro service pk 3.
Cons
Not much to critizise did have a little issue connecting up to wireless router Bullgard changed the settings on my laptop to default so they had to be changed back but other than that nothing else to report.
Summary
buy it give it a try make your own decisions in life you'll probably like it, better still try the two months free version if you want to tweak settings it'll let you, if you dont it just runs in the background and keeps you informed as you go.

Slowed computer down, blocked Google Chrome (had to change settings manually)
Summary
Definitely would not bother with this again. Slowed computer down horribly from the day it was installed. It keep blocking Google Chrome when you started it (what kind of decent security system doesn't recognise a good internet browser?) and was generally a pain. Ended up uninstalling it and installing avast instead.

My veredict is that Bullguard 8.5 is a good Internet Security Suite for the average user. It's one of those software to "install-and-forget" because its good real-time protection covers its "just-a-little-bit-more-than-average" on-demand scanning results which should be higher for the time that Bullguard lasts to complete scanning your computer (higher scanning-times should mean deeper scanning techniques). I shall sing praises to the magnificent and quick-responding technical-support as well to their Remote Assistance tool. Overall, this is a good competitor in the smaller names of Internet Security "Championship". It's almost at the top of this "Second League" but it's still not good enought to compete with the giants of this Industry. A lower price could attract new clients and would be more reasonable for the protection-level offered

Slow virus scan, and so startup scan. I now use Rising Internet Security Suite much better program.

For the money that you pay for this product, it does not offer that level of protection Rising Antivirus security suite is cheaper and better.

. The antivirus scanner takes to long to scan your computer like 50 mins at a minimum on my computer which has only got an 80gb hard dick drive this defently needs to be improved very very very soon. It should be able to scan an 80gb hdd in 30mins.

Excellent Quality Product, Detects Viruses Quickly, Has remote assistance so Bullguard can connect to your computer to help you get rid of a virus if you can't get rid of it by yourself and or any other problem they can help you with this way by you sitting back and relaxing and watching the technician from Bullguard at work fixing the problem for you quickly and easily. Excellent Internet Security Iv'e had many internet security suites which I just couldn't stand I would put them on my computer and they would annoy me so I would take them straight off however with Bullguard this is not the case at all I absolutley love it howvere it doies need some improvements theres many I could think of which isn't a good sign but when you compare them to all the rest they truly stand out to be the best. Good Work Bullguard keep at it and keep improving the software.Well Done !
