"Great product. Has been for YEARS!"
Pros: How much better can free be? Gives you the ability to create nice looking landscapes/scenery, with a small learning curve. Ignore what jer2eydevil88 said about being locked at 800x600. If he had taken as much time to learn a bit about the program as he did here writing a bad rap review on C-Net, he mighta got somewhere. It will go to 4000x3200. How much higher could you possibly want!! I have used this program for several years, and it is a great program, especially for the beginners wanting to experiment with 3D, without reading a 1000 page "how-to" book. It will also import many formats from different programs, which is a bonus, expanding Bryces abilities.
Cons: None: for the beginner.
Simplistic, and you get great results.
Not alot of advanced features really holds this program back from the experienced 3D enthusiast. If you've reached your limits with Bryce, you might want to start thinking about 3D Studio Max, Maya, or other software. If you can't figure out how to create a new document, or go to document setup to bump up the resolution to suit your needs, then go ahead and press the power button on your computer, and slowly back away. Go to the nearest Goodwill or other charity store, and donate your hardware to somebody that might possibly use it and learn something from it.
