"Used 4 years Works Great"
Version: Broadcaster StudioPro 1
Pros
Ease of use, great featureset, fixes lots of my problems
Cons
Negative comments on these sites- this software has worked well for me for a LONG time. Reports of crashes, etc are BS/user error.
Summary
Good tool. VERY HELPFUL if you do Webinars or other video.

"Nice concept if it only worked... Not Worth Your Time!"
Version: Broadcaster StudioPro 1
Pros
There are no Pros to any version of this application up to and including V. 1.4 and
their other application "iGrab".Cons
No Documentation; No Help Files; A Non-Existent web site; All versions report there
is no driver without defining the driver it's looking for; It looks for a camera by default
despite efforts to change that setting...Summary
My experience at attempting to use this application on a M$ Vista OS was abysmal.
I wish you better luck...
I gave it One Star only because CNET Forced me to.
I intended to submit this with a Zero (0) Star rating. -

"Would be Great if it did not Crash!!!"
Version: Broadcaster StudioPro 1
Pros
Software streams video perfectly. It is easy to use and has all the right features
Cons
Crashes Vista 32bit after about being open for 2 minutes.
Summary
Once they fix the bugs in this software this will be the perfect software. Along with adjusting the audio control.

"Crashed system twice"
Version: Broadcaster StudioPro 1
Pros
Cannot say, product failed
Cons
It will crash your system, maybe worse.
Summary
I had previously purchased this product and was glad to see that it was offered free, since it was loaded onto a lost laptop. I received the warning that it might not be compatible with XP, but I loaded it anyway. It took my system down when I used it, so I removed it after an hour. I am not sure if it has done permanent damage. Bottom line, let CNET editors test it first.

"Multiple bugs"
Version: Broadcaster StudioPro 1
Pros
easy to use, records well
Cons
I have been using this product for a year then lost ability to stream video w/sound so reinstalled and proggie caused multiple blue screen crashes also pop up for ffdshow.exe so uninstalled but ffdshow.exe still pops up when using web cam?
Summary
If this product allowed the ability to stream video and record at the same time it would be a very useful tool. Was unable to figure out how to record streams w/sound w/o recording outside sounds through computer mic. If I was able to figure out the blue screen crash and removal of ffdshow.exe I would continue to use.
