"" PERCENTAGE OF WHAT?""
Version: Broadband Download Monitor 1.3
Pros
With no information reguarding any download restrictions, it's the only thing I have to calculate my usage.
Cons
This download monitor is based on previous use against a presumed download limit, if no other information is obtained from the ISP. So without proper details of download restrictions this monitor is of little use.

"Safe easy to use data download monitor"
Version: Broadband Download Monitor 1.3
Pros

Cons
I've not come across any problems or issues.
Summary
Each month set a bandwidth usage target (e.g. 30 GB). You can check how you're doing with this download/ upload usage target by clicking the icon in the system tray. This will give you your current data usage with a reminder of your target figure. I've found this to be a very useful tool. And even if you're on an unlimlited monthly broadband usage package, it's always useful to know how much bandwidth you're actually using.
This software is from Broadband Choices, the broadband comparison website. I've been using this tool for nearly 12 months and have been very happy with it, and have had no issues at all with it. I honestly wouldn't worry about those earlier reviews that say it's a trojan. I think the problem is that some anti virus software incorrectly identifies it as malware. I use Zone Alarm security suite (firewall, anti-virus & spyware), plus PC Tools Spyware Doctor - and neither of these have flagged up any issue with this Broadband Download Monitor. So I have no hesitation in recommending this tool to anyone interested in monitoring their broadband data usage. -
