Ball physics are okay. There's a reasonable selection of power ups and the game back drops add to the overall look of the game.
Cons
It's a little dated now, and also the price tag. You can get it totally free from the following address:
http colon forwardslash forwardslash www dot gametop dot com/download_free_arcade/games_breakout_xp.html take out all the spaces lol. I hope this is acceptable. I don't see why people should have to pay so much for an old game when it is being offered free.

Summary
I found the paddle hard to control using the mouse because it seemed too jerky in its movements, not smooth like most arkanoid clones. The paddle also seemed too small compared to the size of the ball. The game does NOT alt-tab out well, and ended up crashing my system a couple of times after attempting to alt-tab. However, the graphics are superb and the background is very pleasing to the eyes. In fact, watching it often caused me to lose the ball. :P Some of the powerups were interesting. You can have an alien ship zap your bricks, for example. If some minor things were improved, it would be a great game.
