CNET Editors' review
If games like Brave Dwarves 2 are any indication, the Mario Brothers tradition is still going strong. In this family-friendly scroller, you guide an intrepid dwarf adventurer through a moonlit fairy-tale world. Along the way, you collect artifacts and treasure and fend off bees, ghosts, and bats. The gameplay is competent (if a bit on the easy side), but the detailed graphics and charming soundtrack really stand out, evoking a cozy, magical atmosphere. The controls are fully configurable and you can use a gamepad. However, don't expect to finish even the one-provided level. The demo has a 15-minute time limit, and the game frequently interrupts, asking whether you want to buy the registered version. Think of this as a teaser. The $15 registration fee is reasonable, and as an introduction to the world of fantasy-arcade gaming, Brave Dwarves 2 is an excellent choice.Publisher's Description

"boring, little skill involved"
Version: Brave Dwarves 2 1.32
Summary
Brave Dwarfs (I guess an earlier game) is much better. I thought that this one would be the same. Boy, was I ever wrong.

"Won't finish the Diamond Caverns level"
Version: Brave Dwarves 2 1.32
Summary
You can go up and down ladders in the third level, but two of the ladders don't go where they are supposed to. The dwarf just falls off the ladder. 6 of 7 keys and no way to get the seventh. I paid good money in good faith, and no help from support.

"Love the music, graphics, easy game to play."
Version: Brave Dwarves 2 1.32
Summary
But it tends to lock up on my Toshiba laptop. Tech support said they were aware of this but had no suggestions. My suggestion is to save your game everytime the music changes. I wish you could hold shift to speed up the characters.

Terrific music. Excellent Graphics. Works just fine in Windows XP. Could be more difficult, however. Perfect for my 6 year-old son.

"Be careful"
Version: Brave Dwarves 2 1.32
Summary
I have bought the full version of this games, only to find that I am having problems running it on XP. I have e-mailed the developers and have not heard anything from them.
Just be careful that the game runs on your system before you commit to forking out your hard earned cash on a game that yu can't play. -
"Detailed graphics...clean fun"
Version: Brave Dwarves 2 1.32
Summary
Reminds me of Norse by Norsewest...remember that game? Detailed graphics & animation...decent sound effects...Arcade style blended with a bit of RPG feel to it...not bad for registration price...probably best game available for download here at Cnet.
