I just assembled my first RAID a couple of months ago successfully. Last week something was wrong. I couldn't fix it coz I don't know what went wrong! A friend told me of this software and, being desperate and at loss for anything else to do better, I bought the full package.
In less than an hour ALL MY PROBLEMS WERE SOLVED! I really felt like a dooch! -

I have a small business buying and selling stuff online and my data base is crucial to its operation.
I recently upgraded my server as my old one was about 25 years old and couldn't cope with the demands of new programmings and updates. I had to back everything up and Boomerang lead the way in that department as proven by the number of downloads alone!
True to their claim, I did get everything back the way it was. My server was offline for about half a day (from hardware upgrade til data and program re-institution).
Trust is paramount in my business and Boomerang gets my full trust. -

I have never thought I'd be using Boomerang eversince I bought it 2 1/2 months ago until one of my partitions began acting strangely. Sometimes its there at other times its not. I've tried everything I know about trouble shooting until after about a 4 hours later I remembered I had Boomerang and put it through its paces and VOILA! Everything is back as it was before the strange happenings.
Yeah I knocked my head for not thinking of it earlier.
I now know I spent cheap for the product. Its simply a life saver! -

Summary
My children have been messing around with my laptop and a lot of files have been rearranged, folders are not supposed to be where they belong, and worst deleted folders!
It was a good thing my wife downloaded and installed Boomerang and I'm about to put it to the test for the first time. It was easy enough to use. Turned out, my wife backs up the whole laptop 3 times a week online. It was only a matter of recovering lost data, saving that, and restoring everything to the most recent backup.
I'm still amazed at the speed of which Boomerang recovered and restored THE WHOLE DRIVE!

My all-important disk array was messed up by a roomate of mine and I tried everything I know (including slaving the whole drive) to no avail.
This software came highly recommended by our IT professor as he's been using it for more than 2 years now.
After paying the full amount (I didn't want the freebie) I ran it without looking at the instructions. Its THAT easy to use!! And I had array reconstructed in less than an hour! Talk about SPEED!
In our business management class they always talk about ROI (return of investment). Boomerang is a great example of a positive ROI. I have never regretted spending $100 on this. I'm also enjoying the extra services included in the software (mainly the FTP backup). -

Summary
For such a small program, how can it find and fix a ghost partition?! I can't help but admire the coders/programmers behind Boomerang. Its a rarity to get a Mac-compatible and very reliable software. Like in one of the reviews before this, for $100 this is the cheapest insurance you can get in the world!

I don't know what all the gripe reviews are about. I read them but they hardly make any sense (which isn't surprising considering where they come from). As for me this software SAVES a lot! It saved my files and lost partition, saved my job because it saved those data, and consequently saved my life!
If you want data insurance guys, you can never go wrong with this tool. -

Summary
My case is a lot more simple than the usual reviews here. I just lost a folder of albums and couldn't get it back as I had my system set on permanent delete.
Boomerang was actually my second try at data recovery software. First one promised a lot but delivered corrupted files. That scared me. I was hoping this next data recovery software could recover AND fix it.
I didn't want to try the free version or anything short of the full package. I paid the hundred, downloaded and installed it.
Lets just say I am a very very happy person now because of Boomerang. I heard its got other capabilities and features too. That's what I'll be doing next.
So far, good job Boomerang. I'll keep you guys here posted on the other features once I've mastered them. -

Summary
I'm a college student sharing a room with my girlfriend for 3 years til now. We also share my MAC, the only computer in the apartment. We had an argument recently about my suspicion that she was playing behind my back or something. This was evidenced by pictures and emails she stored "secretly" on my MAC. I came across them purely by accident when I came home early (last class was postponed) and caught the image on the screen as I was going in the door of our bathroom. I told myself to check it out once I'm done. I went out after a few minutes and she was sitting in front of the MAC checking out FB. I asked her about it by passing and I was surprised by her heated reply. Needless to say, when she was gone to her class, I searched and found nothing similar to what I saw. but our trash bin was empty which she never cleans out.
I searched and found this data recovery tool for only a $100. I immediately installed and ran it.
When my gf came home, her bags were all packed. I even offered to drop her off at her boy's house (yeah he lived three blocks away).
Indirectly, my future was just saved by Boomerang! Imagine what life would be if we were married!
