Free demo took 24 hours to scan my external hard drive.
Cons
Another 36 hours spent waiting for my order to process and futile attempts at contacting customer service or anyone. There is no contact info and no replies.
Summary
Better spend your time learning to use Unix dd instead and recover your data for free.

I've wanted to review this garbage program for so long. I wish I never bought it , what a sucker I was. REMEMBER IT WILL ONLY WORK ON THAT ONE MACHINE AND IT'S TOTALLY LIMITED. Enjoy your money, you wont get any more of mine!

I lost an entire folder of important files a few days ago.
I was in a panic when I realized they were gone, and immediately started
scouring the internet for some sort of solution.
After a little bit of searching, I came across boomerang for the Mac OS X
It looked nice and simple, so I decided to give it a try.
It worked like a charm!
Within minutes I was recoering my data, and managed to get it all back. -

I couldn't believe it when I booted up my macbook one day, only to find
that the entire weeks worth of essays I had written were gone.
I still don't know how they got deleted. I must've accidentally deleted them by mistake.
With finals due on thursday, I was in a panic.
I didn't have the time or resoruces to go back and re-do all my research and writing!
My tech-savvy roomate mentioned that she had used data-recovery software in the past to
recover accidentally deleted files.
I always come to cnet to search for downloads, and noticed that boomerang was one of the
most popular clients for OS X.
I didn't have much time, so I just decided to go with it.
Fortunately, it worked great. It found my files no problem (much to my relief)
and I was able to walk into my final class with my head held high.
A file saver, a grade saver, and a day saver! 5 stars for sure! -

This software worked GREAT!
I mistakenly deleted a bunch of files off of my desktop and was so worried that I wouldn't be able to get them back! (I had cleared my files before I noticed so it was to late i thought!)
After looking around the web for any sort of hope, I read about data recovery and later found boomerang!
It looked like a good solution, so I decided to give it a try.
I downloaded it, and within moments had my files back!

I was in need of a data recovery app for my MacBook pro.
A quick search turned up Boomerang, a popular data recovery app with a custom built interface just for the mac.
I decided to buy it and give it a try.
within 5 minutes, I had the program purchased, installed, and recovering my data.
I was very pleased with the experience, and would recommend it to anyone that needs to recover data from their mac. -

no instructions, the program runs for hours and then when you save the data, all you can save is empty folders. hardly the result I was looking for. sent a "urgent request for support and never heard from them.

Did not recover any usable files from a hard drive
After trying to resolve the issuses with boomerang and the total lack of support I asked for a refund and was put on a blacklist of some kind And was called a cheater and a liar, don't mess with this unless you want to waste your money and be slandered
This hard drive was working. I just wanted to retrieve some files that were lost after remounting the drive.
