Some reports suggest the site is often down for maintenance but I have not found that.

More or less OK when running.
Cons
Totally unreliable. They switch off their server at their convenience, especially during holidays. Why are they accepting new members when the service is free and they know users will be pissed off after investing time in this app?
Summary
Bookmark Tracker should have a disclaimer before signing up new members to the effect that their service is not continuous. I've never seen such a joke of a website before. They should be forced out of business because they behave like hackers.

"Website has disappeared"

This was a great bookmark tracker. I've been using it for about 2 years and have trusted my bookmark listing to them. Amazingly easy to setup and use.
Cons
The website and my 500+ bookmarks disappeared, without warning, about a week ago. All I get is that the site is down for routine maintenance. Sorry guys but being down for routine maintenance for over a week is an extremely bad business model.
Summary
I think I have most of my bookmarks backed up somewhere. If not I'm screwed. If they ever get back up and running again, I might recommend them, but with caution. Right now I'm looking for something more reliable. I actually moved my bookmarks here from another site as the one I used before was so unreliable. Now I'm slammed by this. Stay away for now. If they do come back online, use them with caution and back up your bookmarks regularly.

It is great to organize your bookmarks on the web. You can access them from anywhere...If you computer crashes and you need a new one...your bookmarks are safe. You can add bookmarks easy and catorgize your tree easily.
Cons
Too much dowmtime. It happens over the weekends usually and takes up to 3 days to resolve.
Summary
If downtime could be controlled this would be the premier provider of Bookmarking services. They have been in business for several years and should realize that when they go down, that all the users cannot get to their links.
