From The BonkEnc Project :BonkEnc is a CD ripper, audio encoder and converter for various formats. It can produce MP3, MP4 / M4A, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, Bonk and FLAC files. BonkEnc supports free db protocol level 6 (Unicode), CDText and ID3v2 tags and is available in several languages. BonkEnc makes it easy to convert your CDs to MP3 or Ogg Vorbis audio files. Files can be automatically tagged to include artist and title information. Version 1.0.3 fixes some bugs found in earlier versions and adds Catalan language support.

Pros: It's user-friendly, and multi-compatible. Most encoders don't do their job and support only a few formats.
Cons: Nothing i don't like.
