"Slowed my XP Netbook to a crawl."
Pros
It installed only after I upgraded my Windows installer. The instructions on how to do that were pretty easy to follow. After installation the interface was pretty simple, and the Android apps were plentiful.
Cons
During installation I received a message that I should upgrade my graphics card. I don't think that I have the option to upgrade the graphics with a Netbook. Even though there were plenty of apps, Angry Birds required the graphics upgrade; and none of the other apps appealed to me. Furthermore, my system slowed to a crawl. Even simple MS games such as Freecell and Pinball were jerky.
Summary
After a day I uninstalled BlueStacks. Maybe it will work better on my Desktop; I still haven't decided whether to try it there.
