Some of the functionality such as system settings is hidden;

"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE"
Version: BlueStacks App Player beta-1
Pros

Cons

"Very poor software!"
Version: BlueStacks App Player beta-1
Pros
Hard to mention when the software fails to work!
Cons
Crashes on install. My system just restarted waiting for the program to start after install.
Also, installs RocketDock! (Maybe it's included in the terms, not sure) I don't want a software that installs other unnecessary software on my system.Summary
Right now, it's worthless. Hopefully they'll clean it up. But, I don't think I'll ever install it again.

"Overhyped experiment"
Version: BlueStacks App Player beta-1
Pros
Beats me, never worked.
Cons
Waste of time.
Summary
Installed, reinstalled, changed settings so many times and still nothing. Frontend crash over and over, support on the site is a joke, so many people with problems and none are solved and responses are lame. Seems like a cool idea but not worth the effort so far.

"It works as it should!"
Version: BlueStacks App Player beta-1
Pros
So far so good, downloaded / installed in Google Chrome without error or problems. Downloaded a couple apps, and work as they should. Very happy with this, especially with it still being Beta!
Also very cool feature to easily sync your phone apps with BlueStacks.Cons
None yet, still new to the app but enjoying it so far.
Summary
For this still being a beta app, its running pretty great. Obviously the GPS functions on some of the apps probably wont work, especially since one's laptop usually doesn't have GPS cabailities. And even if going over IP (GPS) even that is limited to your own ISP.
I would actually like to change my review to 5-Stars! Been using it today even over a pretty crappy connection and its working great! No errors at all, couldn't be happier.

Would be happy to pay for program when it hits its final release. -
"Not Pleased - Overall Poor Software"
Version: BlueStacks App Player beta-1
Pros
A few of the apps actually work like word games where you create words in a set amount of time (Wordfeud).
Cons
Many social network apps that use GPS do not work at all and this is the reason I researched and downloaded Blue Stacks. The hovering icon is a nightmare and needs to be removed ASAP. The majority of apps I downloaded do not work at all like Shazam, ShopSavvy, Google Voice.
Summary
A piece of junk and until the major developmental issues are resolved - a total waste of time to download. If this crap was for sale in retail or online, it would be a constant barrage of returns for this software. Blue Stacks wake up.

"Can't use it!!!!!!"
Version: BlueStacks App Player beta-1
Pros
I have no clue
Cons
I can't use it because I have RocketDock installed.
Summary
I was trying to download this and I got a message saying that it wasn't compatible with RocketDock so I wasn't even able to use this!!!

"It is cool but probably hogs RAM"
Version: BlueStacks App Player beta-1
Pros
Unlike other users who posted that it does not uninstall, I did not have any problems INSTALLING (on Apr 2) or Uninstalling (on April 10). I decided to uninstall it temporarily as the beta product was not resizing easily without restarting. Also, the constant hovering icon on the right top side of the screen affected my tabbed browsing quite a bit. So it had to go.
Cons
Screen location, RAM Hog. After I uninstalled, RAM usage went down to 21%. Before, it was at 50-55% constantly. That tells me a lot!
Summary
overall, it is a good product great for testign apps on windows machines, but be sure to have more than 2GB RAM.

"HORRIBLE - JUNK!"
Version: BlueStacks App Player beta-1
Pros
None whatsoever!
Cons
Screwed up my Windows Vista system royally! It has taken me over 2 weeks to get my computer back to working order. Could not even do a system restore!
Summary
Stay away from this. I'm so sorry I bothered to install this worthless piece of junk!
