"Competent, versatile, well thought out."
Pros: Great software for monitoring IP cameras. Motion detection is completely adjustable. Works better than all others. Well written help section. Lots of features and very stable.

Version: Blue Iris 2.18
Pros: My old software would shut off after 4 hours. This keeps recording forever. Really like the webcast / http server to broadcast webcam. Records with sound with no problems on my wireless camera. Tons of options and features.
Cons: Wish I could find a crack, ended up paying for it like a good citizen.

Version: Blue Iris 2.13.02
"Steller webcam security application!"
Pros: Works very well with many popular webcams and has a myriad of features available so you can set up a security solution specific to your needs! Technical support provided is top notch as well!
Cons: This software met every expectation I had for the money, I could not find anything to dislike.

Version: Blue Iris 2.08
"Great software easy to use very powerful"
Pros: I have been using Blue Iris for almost 2 years watching my home. I have tried other more expensive security software and Blue Iris is the best I have tried. I can watch what goes on at my house while I am at work in real time or I can view recorded events. Blue Iris is easy to setup, flexible and powerful. Product support is excellent.

Version: Blue Iris 2.07.08
Pros: I always used WebcamXP, which had bad support for my D-Link IP cam (DCS-950) and ate a lot of resources. Not with Blue Iris - my D-Link works great as my other 3 cams do. Configuring is a bit more difficult than WebcamXP, but it offers a lot more options (picture quality, fps, etc).
Cons: Interface not very user friendly
