This free 32k byte editor can edit any binary file in memory, up to 2GB in size. Each byte then can be edited by clicking on any byte starting position, by using the keyboard or the Hexadecimal/ASCII text boxes you can edit each byte.

Version 1.01 adds an option to search Hex characters.
