  Version: BlogBridge 4.0.1 Mac

  "Good UI and features, but troubling strings attached"

  Pros: Has a good feature mix and a strong UI. Most feed readers don't support tagging (bizarrely enough), but this does, which is a significant plus. Cross platform ability is also a major plus.

  Cons: They don't communicate clearly about their product and some things it does. For example, I had to send the developer email to get them to state clearly that the software ALWAYS communicates with their server, and that they are able to place a limit on the number of subscriptions you can have EVEN IF YOU AREN'T USING THEIR SYNCHRONIZATION SERVICE. In other words, THE SOFTWARE HAS UNDOCUMENTED STRINGS ATTACHED.

  I learned this, and deleted it. I was disappointed to do so -- it's a really promising piece of software -- but I'm just not interested in letting someone else have the right decide whether I get to keep my data or not.
