Just like the Cnet Editor says: This top-notch parental control application impressively blocks and monitors online activity. Block Home's interface is clear-cut and easy to configure. You'll quickly be able to filter and block all access to Web sites featuring adult content. Specific URLs you deem unfit may be added to a blacklist, and sites that are appropriate but may contain words the software would otherwise block can be placed on a whitelist. For ultimate control, Block Home's limited-usage feature only allows kids to visit the specific URLs on that list. This app's blocking abilities don't stop there; you can thwart P2P file sharing, instant messages, spyware, and adware. Besides its Web barriers, we like that it also features an online monitor that logs every site visited including the date and time. Naturally, the program is secured with password protection to prevent uninstallation, shutdown, and settings changes. Parents can rest easy while impressionable minds surf the Web using this effective application.

"Problematic installation with no tech support"

I am fairly techinically astute. I could not install this product successfully. E-mail tech support was useless - kept sending me the same e-mail over and over. They are a Finnish company, so you either have to speak Finnish, be willing to call Finland for support, or lucky enough not to run into trouble, which I was not. Never again. I will always check for a US phone number on tech support before purchasing someone's software in the future.
