Version: Blackberry Video Converter 1.13
Pros: Although the videos were no more the size of a postage stamp, the video conversion process was very straightforward and easy to use.
Cons: This software disabled my ability to synchronize with my PC. I bought the BB8800 as a PDA first and media player second. I had to unstall the FREE software and remove the Blackberry software so it could be reinstalled from scratch before I was able to synchronize again. Well, you get what you pay for.

Version: Blackberry Video Converter 1.13
Pros: Very simple and easy to use. I have converted several videos. I like the choices for video size. I'm able to get a full screen on my Curve.
Cons: The only thing is there doesn't seem to be a choice in combing video files from the hard drive, just DVDs.

"Works great with Tivo content"
Pros: With an extra step was easily able to add Tivo content. Simple, simple.

Pros: what i liked most about this software, it allowed me to do exactly what i wanted to do - convert my video.
Cons: I'm clueless about what all the switches and command line stuff is all about....i would have been nice to get a little more help from the help file to explain all that.

Pros: I didnt d/l from cnet but from another bb site. Used it for my pearl, at what I converted worked. I'll be using it for my 8800 and the new 8300 when it comes out
Cons: Not sure yet.
