    "No it doesn't work"

    It can't find the Mac Address Book. Either this is Apple's fault (ie. they're trying to ring fence Address Book to only synch with the icloud) or BB's fault (it can't find the right directory). I think I'll fiddle with my Mac's permissions, but I din't think that will help.

    I had the same problem. I think the problem is that with the introduction of iCloud, your contacts are no longer visible to the BB software. If you go under System Preferences and iCloud, deselect Contacts and it should work. The sync software is still useless however.
