I tried it in 3 machines; A server board with 32GB ram , Intel Xeon 5000series , 2GB DDR5 ATI radeon graphics with 8 HDD in RAID10 array; then a i7intel with 12GB ram and third on a i5 laptop with 8GB ram.
All the 3 machines froze after install, internet pages took 5 to 19 minutes to load, most of the time, error on loading pages. NOTHING WORKED SMOOTHLY. As a idiot i bought 3license pack after reading glowing reviews. ALL THE REVIEWS MOST PROBABLY WERE PAID ONES.
As my previous frustated user says: these fraudulent sellers should go to jail for fleecing people. Otherwise, how could they release a software so buggy , and not release patches for them. If they can write a 400MB software how come they cant rectify all the faults?
And if you search the net, EVERY USER IS SICK OF BD. except the paid reviewers of course!!Summary
GET ANY OTHER SOFTWARE BUT THIS. We all have burnt our fingers and pockets. Save yourself!!

It seems to me that the people complaining about this Virus Scanner are loading this software on machines that are dated. I would not recommend a user to buy this software if their PC/Laptop is more than 3-4+ old. It is a rather large install and if you do not have the proper RAM/HDD space it will significantly impede your machine. Outside of that, for what you pay for you get 2 other FREE 1 year subscriptions to pass on to family, Identity protection, social media protection and unlike the Nortons/McAffe's it does not POP-UP YOU TO DEATH about every little application and update. It is very quite, does its job and outside of a slow scanning time does the job extremely well.. A+ ( out of a F-A++ scale) Rating.

I COULDN'T CONNECT TO THE INTERNET CAUSE THIS MALWARE BLOCKED ME AND I HAD TO WONDER HOW I MANAGED TO FU*K UP A BRAND NEW PC I JUST PURCHASED AND REALIZED THIS SH*T SOFTWARE WAS THE REASON UPON UNINSTALLING. Longest time taken to install (4 hours in my laptop, after 2 attempts)
Still not bug free
Hanged my Laptop
Finally blockd many programs
Installed it now- everything is fine again.
Now I am using Avast+Comodo combo :)Summary
I don't know why everyone says this antivirus a good one. But my personal experience was tooooooooo bad.

Compare previous versions of BitDefender, it was very nice product. Now everything has chanced due to unknown reasons. The installer makes like 400 MB which totally unbelievably hight.

Search the net and you'll find multiple complaints about BitDefender. It is so bugged that it's totally useless.
Stay away from this software, there are many free antivirus programs (I got one now) which will perform better and will be (at least) stable without ruining your machine. -

Its still unstable and being on Bitdefender Forum hasnt got me anyware! Bitdefender knows about the many problems the product have
Slowdowns,Instability,Corupt Files etc. But they dont seems to do anything about it! Its kind of sad that the product has so many issues..How Cnet can rate Bitdefender with a score of 4.5 stars is beyond me
