I just un-installed BitComet and thought I would give BitTorrent a chance. Having dealt with so many different CONS with BitComet and its lack of speed at times, I was hesitant to see what BitTorrent would do. I know that download speed is proportionate to the amount of seeders/leechers, BUT to my surprise, the first file that I chose to download (which had no more of less seeders/leechers than when downloading with BitComet) shot all the way up to nearly 700-kbps which was a first for any bit downloader on my Vista-powered, cable internet. Throttling ISPs aside, it makes me wonder what BitTorrents got in the poke as opposed to BitComet. In the end, I've found my new favorite bit torrent client.
Cons
I haven't found anything yet that I don't like. The main objective is to get it downloaded as quickly as possible. A 500MB file just finished downloading for me in 10 minutes on Cable.
