    "Selling out... bad Bitcomet"

    Easy to use, nice interface, good community

    Cons

    adverts, intrusions, bandwidth hogging and stalling.

    Summary

    I used BitComet for years. Slowly bit by bit the advertising and site referrals became more important than the function of the program itself. Every update seemed to be new marketing functions. I gave in, went to uTorrent. Much more stable, seems faster, but is definately a cleaner client. You messed up BitComet, ruined a great program.

    Actually what you call "advertising" is links to other FREE products produced by the bitcomet team.

    utorrent comes bundled with adware (toolbar)
