"A nice alternative from traditional p2p applications"
Pros: You will have far less infected files than users of LimeWire, Morpheus and Bearshare. BitComet takes a little while to get use to if you have never tried a Torrent client before. You can scan through the pages and select numerous music, video, and software files to download. It also doesn't take a lot of system resources which is great for users who have 256MB of ram or less. Give BitComet a try...it's free.
Cons: I felt the downloads were slower than other p2p apps. Also, there are not many ways to search for specific files.

"After version 0.60 BitComet has lost all of its value."
Pros: Its still free.
Contrary to the believe of that dope, there is NO spyware or adware. And on a side, Limewire and BitComet use two different mediums of filesharing, and are completely different in terms of what users expect to download with them.
Still has a very XP-like interface.
Cons: After 0.59 BitComet has lost is true value, that being, the ability to gain access to private trackers via use of DHT. They fixed this in versions 0.60 (rereleased) and later.
Without this all you are stuck with is another generic BitTorrent client which gets horrible download speeds compared to Azureus or uTorrent, and isn't as often updated as Azureus or uTorrent.
I suggest Azureus or uTorrent, they are much better choices as BitTorrent clients.
