Biodesigner is a free molecular viewer and editor coupled with a sequence processor. Biodesigner automatically recognizes several molecular file types. Molecules can be visualized using various display styles and coloring schemes. The output pictures can be saved as bitmap, PostScript, or POV-Ray files. Protein chains can be superimposed or structurally aligned. Proteins sequences can be edited and aligned using a coupled sequence processor. Additionaly, the program can display molecular dynamics trajectories and render them as AVI files.
