"Great Program for a free program"
Version: Bible Explorer 4
Pros
Great study software, and also has the greek-hebrew audio dictionary for proper pronunciation of the words. You don't have to go into the discussion room if you don't want to. Just ignore it if you want, and use the program for all it's information, and study tools.
Cons
None that I could tell.
God Bless in your studies.

"you cannot delete items"
Version: Bible Explorer 4
Pros
nothing
Cons
3 major cons (1) once you add a "book" to the program, you cannot delete it (2) it produces its own "my documents" folder to save notes, but it is very hard to find because it is not with the rest of system folder. (3) The other comments about the discussion groups are right on track. One person linked AIDS and homosexual together. Another person said it is not fair to link these two items together. He continued with stating that it is not fair for someone who has AIDS and it is not fair for the person who is homosexual. They deleted his post.

"Go try a different program like e-sword"
Version: Bible Explorer 4
Pros
Has a lot information,
Cons
Most of the information that is available for this program is available in other programs because the information is public domain. The format they use is old and is no longer supported in the industry. They have a discussion group that you must believe in their beliefs, or else they will inform you that you are going to hell. For an example, I said that people who are gay should not be discriminated against in any fashion, and I was told my flesh is wining the war against my soul.

"Absolutely Outstanding"
Version: Bible Explorer 4
Pros
During the short time I've used this program, I've found it's quality and comprehensive information regarding God's Word, have left me speechless, given that it's FREE.
If you're a serious Christian, and you want to access tons of Word based material, from a galaxy of preachers, theologians etc. Then I would say "If you only have one Bible based program on your computer, this is second to none."
Cons
Zero

"Uninstalled due to discussion group"
Version: Bible Explorer 4
Pros
Has a lot of features and is well put together.
Cons
Not a program you can just jump into and be able to use - there is a learning curve. Also, whenever you click the shortcut to open the program, it appears to be communicating with the internet as there are popup messages to that effect. Finally, I uninstalled this because it has a "discussion group" associated with the program. If I could have gotten the program WITHOUT the discussion group, I would have probably kept it. However, any ladies who may be reading this, the persons posting to this group appear to be women haters, and I found many of the posts to be offensive. There was one man, however, who spoke against the other remarks but he was told he'd better watch what he believes, that they were worried about him and they would pray for him. I decided I didn't want a program associated with this discussion group on my machine.
