"The Perfect Remote Desktop Program"

Pros
Everything it does, it does beautifully, interface is slick and easy, security features are just right for the average user, it's exactly what I was looking for to remotely check up on my server, located in the utility room of my house. So easy to log into the unit and get instant readings on temp, volts, FTP access, and UPS activity, etc. If or when, the trial period expires, (I don't recall when I installed it) I will most definitely be purchasing the full version.

It does what it says! Supports Terminal Services and XP Remote Desktop allowing me to manage my entire network. The connection and performance is superb, beats the competition!

I have 4 PC's. 2 laptops for the wifey and I and 2 desktops for the kiddies that we keep restricted with user logons. How tiring it was; up and down the stairs; "Mom! can you turn the computer on for me?!" "Dad! There's an error on the PC" BEYOND REMOTE was just the product we needed. Now we can remotely log on to the desktops from the comfort and convienence of our laptops. BEYOND REMOTE offers "real time viewing" so we can keep a watchful eye on the young surfers. It also has IP Filtering which means the remote PC's may only be accessed by the IP's of our laptops. If you're not sure what that means; to translate: MORE SECURITY from hackers! The server side compontent is password protected. There is a built in chat relay so we can send Instant Messages to and from the remote PC's. We can even use BEYOND REMOTE to play multi player games that are not network configurable. Basically, if it can be done from the remote PC keyboard - it can be done from BEYOND REMOTE! This software is FANTASTIC! And it's FREE for personal use. I highly recommend BEYOND REMOTE to anyone looking for remote access to their PC. I don't believe you will be disappointed.
Cons
The "free for personal use" version does have a Splash screen that appears on the remote PC when accessed, thus alerting the remote user that he/she may be being monitored. This does not appear on the paid version (or so I am told.) Data Apples should make allowances for the Home User to register their software and remove the Splash screen. I am tempted to pay for a license just to have the screen removed. (NOT!)

Easy install, helpful error messages, fast response, well thought out interface/software.
Works fantastic. Using it to control an HTPC over in-home wireless network (via old Linky WAP11's WITH encryption). Much better performance than VNC/TightVNC. Wake-on-lan also works great. Really a no-brainer for a great FREE product. Cudos to Data Apples for a well-needed product for us "regular folks".
Cons
Nag screen to register but relatively unobtrusive.
Seems to work better if you specify IP address as opposed to computer name.
Haven't tried it outside local network yet.

I tried other software first problem with them was there were difficult to se and second had to pay for them even just to them for personal puropose. But this software is for free and very easy to use. I really recommend this software and give full rate to this Software.
