"A great site to download music w/o virsus's & adware."
Pros: 1. Love the ease of finding music.
2. Easy to download to library & to make a playlist.
3. My husband loves to watch to music videos while he is downloading his songs.
4. Customer service gets right back to you with an issue.
5. No virus's.Cons: 1. Bearshare 8 does not recognize my RCA Opal media player even though I am synced w/MS Media Player 11.
Summary: I wish I had known about Bearshare years ago. They need to have a better way to find them on IE. I found others like them...you know the ones w/the virsus/adware/spyware. Anyway, I am still learning to use this software. I am having diffuculty with it recognizing my mp3 player, but now-a-days they are so cheap, what is the big deal. Oh, by the way, I added RCA Opal to MS Compability List to have them check it and since I have used it with Player 9 it should be added. If you are having the same problem, I suggest you do the same thing. Bearshare will guide you through this process in the Help Guide. Also, I am willing to pay the premium fee. WELL WORTH THE FEE!! Come on folks get REAL!! Thanks BearShare for the Great Product, CNet for the Great Downloads, and McAfee for doing the previous virsus, adware & spyware checkup and giving Bearshare a great grade.
2. I got this for downloading to my media player so of course I will be getting the premium pkg, where majority of the music is found.
