Version: Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner 1.12
"A Truly Superior Tool - Not for beginners or lazy users"
Pros: I stumbled on to Bazooka about two years ago, and I have used it to remove realms of spyware on several office computers. It has found MANY spyware infestations that were missed by TrojanHunter, Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D. It's quick to scan, and once you have identified the particular problems, you can look up how to remove them COMPLETELY in the online encyclodedia. Many of the other spyware programs leave bits of the spyware behind when they try to remove them for you. These bits can cause slow-down and crashing problems on older operating systems, and are generally a big headache.
Bazooka will not remove the spyware for you, you have to do it yourself, but I prefer this method, since I can then be sure it is completely gone.
Cons: You have to be comfortable with Registry Editing to use this - it's not for beginners. If you are not careful while you are fooling around in the Registry Editor, you can crash your computer.
It is extremely important to read the removal instructions VERY carefully, and go through them step by step, in proper order, to remove the spyware from your system.
