Appealing to gearheads who don't mind getting their hands dirty, Bazooka scans for spyware and offers detailed instructions on how to remove it. However, many people will prefer an application that removes spyware for them. Installation is simple and the application includes an automatic updater for its spyware-reference database. After the lightning-quick scan, you must be online to access instructions on how to remove any spyware that is found. We would like to see an option for downloading all spyware-removal instructions at one time, making a trip online unnecessary. Online-access issues aside, Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner provides a nice, simple solution to keeping those nasty programs out of your hard drive.Publisher's description

The scanning process only takes a fraction of a second and tells you how to uninstall the invasive spyware or puts you in contact with the spyware developer for the most up-to-date and safe uninstall instructions. Spyware and adware often is bundled with software such as Kazaa, Morpheus, Grokster, iMesh, Xolox, and Gnutella, and in many cases it's installed without your knowledge. Pros: Bazooka scanned my computer in about 10 seconds and did not find any spyware or adware.
Cons: The data base of this program is too small so detection rates of spyware and adware are not detected. Bozooka need's to be updated with a larger data base.

"Free doesn't mean its actually any good."
Pros: Its free.
It has a nice look I suppose.
Cons: Scan times are ridiculously too low to indicate any kind of decent scanning engine.
Detection rates are horrible in comparison to the Big 5: Microsoft Antispyware, Webroot SpySweeper, Lavasoft Ad-Aware, Spybot Search & Destroy, McAfee Antispyware.

Pros: Fast, but so far didnt found any spyware/addware.
Recommended as a backup antispyware but not use it for main cleaning tools.

Pros: I always run Bazooka first, because it can detect any spyware and adware in less than 10 seconds. If it shows any, then I run my spy cleaners,(which are all slow),and clean the infections. As you know, Bazooka won't clean the spyware. I think it makes a nice addition to your anti-spy arsenal, and recommend it because it does a good job-and it's FREE! 5 Stars and Two thumbs Up!
