"Couldn't Figure Out Random Renaming"

Does a good, quick job renaming files using your inputs for names
Cons
Google chatter indicated it would also batch rename with random filenames. I couldn't figure out how to do it with this app.
Summary
A new piece of media display hardware that I have shows photos in alpha order, as they are ordered in a Windows 7 folder. I wanted all the files "scambled" with random names so the photos would be displayed in random order. Couldn't figure out how to do it with BFR 5.1. Otherwise, this app does what it says.

Pros
File is small and fast. Allowed me to sort over 1600 photos by the date and time taken and rename in under 2 minutes.
Cons
None works as it says to batch rename files.
Summary
Less than five minutes to download, figure out, sort 1600 photos, decide what to rename them to, and batch rename. No complaints here. 4 star rating is simply the UI but once you figure that out it does the job.

Pros
Free with no adware. No need to install big chuncky setup files just to rename a directory of file. Just quickly download and run from browser.
Cons
Doesn't come with all these stupid complex un-needed options which only 1% of users will use.

The builder of the software is very rude - if you do not believe me, look at his responses to the reviews. If he doesn't want CNET members to evaluate his product, don't put it out there for us.
Cons
I wanted to use it to strip the first 5 characters from a batch of MP3 files - if this product can do it, I could not figure out how. I know I did this in the past - must have been with another, and better app.
