    April 9, 2012  |   By nostray

Version: Bat To Exe Converter 1.6

    Pros

This tool is able to make 64bit'S exe-file.

    Cons

Since the Trojan.Gen was detected with my PC, it became impossible to use the tool eternally.

Why can such a file access from the site of C-net?
    This site is not trusted.

"Verified VIRUS with majority of 34 different scanners"

    January 12, 2012  |   By Wiiview33

Version: Bat To Exe Converter 1.6

    Pros

You get what you pay for in almost every aspect of life. Here you get nothing of use for free. App was copy and pasted together from code online - admitted in documentation.

    Cons

Scan your compiled EXEs with the 34 different scanners for free at virustotal_com

Results from DRWEB should be ignored since they are bad as Norton with false positives on many legit apps. Check for yourself with the rest of them.

This app is used by all of the people that watch youtube videos on how to write MALICIOUS batch files then compile them to EXE for free. This app has ALWAYS had a problem with antivirus programs. If your EXE is "clean" today, advise you check back in a week.

Now you see why you do not want to use this product for your commercial applications? You will lose the trust of your customers who will demand refunds.

Your 64bit EXE won't work on 32bit windows. There are no benefits to compiling batch files to 64bit EXE.

    Summary

Now I hope you see why you do not want to use this product for your commercial applications. You will lose the trust of your customers.

Support the real developers that created real BAT EXE converters from the ground up with many more features.

This project was copy and pasted together with code found online. The developer admits this in the documentation. He was decent enough to give credit to the creators of the code.
