"Has problem with complex scripts"
Version: Bat To Exe Converter 1.6
Pros
Made copy and pasted together from code found on the web and uses pkzip to make the EXE
Cons
This compiler will not compile scripts with following commands:
%~dps0
%0
Or any related file system variables. There is also no editor with Replace function. Encryption is only from the included pkZip command line tool.
Batch file Compiler Professional Edition and Advanced Bat to Exe Converter from different venders are the only compilers that work without modifying your batch files.Summary
As for people complaing about Virus false positives, this is only because of VirusTotal(dot)com
Their system forwards all 40+ AV companies the false positive if there is just one detection. Half of the antivirus companies blindly add the false positive to their definitions with the same virus name automatically.

"NOT A VIRUS DON'T LISTEN TO MISINFORMATION !!!"
Version: Bat To Exe Converter 1.6
Pros
Free, small, easy to use, works great.
Cons
none i've ever had.
Summary
This is not a virus, it get's picked up as such due to the packers it needs to compile. Avast even states it's not enough to call malware on scan because it's not malware. I've been using this for quite some time and it's a shame that others scream VIRUS due to lack of knowledge of how programs such as this work. But don't take my word for it, look it up, that's what the internet is for, use it.
DONT LISTEN TO THIS, as stated it's a false positive. Contact any AV with this, they will tell you.

"Great program"
Version: Bat To Exe Converter 1.6
Pros
Easy to use and creates x32 and x64 versions without problems. It's free
Cons
None, it did just what I wanted.

I did have to laugh about the virus and trojan comments. How about learning more about viruses and trojans before writing comments. This is just a good free program.

"A very good program. NOT A TROJAN / VIRUS"
Version: Bat To Exe Converter 1.6
Pros
Form my limited needs it did what it said it would. The ability to execute in the background and attach an .ico file to the compiled product made this a very useful freebee. Get it. You'll love it.
Cons
None so far. More people should try it.
Summary
Get it. It is Not Malicious code. Don't fall for other reviewer's BS.
Revision: I just tried this app on a XP system running AVG 2012 Virus Def: 2433/5057 and I received a false positive during compilation process. My up to date NOD32 had no problems. I still hold firm this is a false positive, but still here is the heads up.
