Version: BartPE Bootable Live Windows CD/DVD 3.1.10a
"Probably good, not for a newbie, can't use windows setup from another computer"
Pros: Although they have a forum, it wasn't very friendly to newbies (I didn't contribute, just read) and was very technical. I'm not exactly a newbie, but I had a hard time with this, wish there was a more informative manual. Found out only after much reading and searching that you needed the original Windows setup for the computer you were trying to fix, I could not use one Windows setup to fix the other. I had an ntfs system error, my cd was broke, needed to boot from USB, tried several programs but "active boot disk" (at ntfs.com website) was the only thing that helped after weeks of searching and reading. This Bart thing has lots of good reviews, and a steady following, and looks promising, but it wasn't for me.
Cons: Found the manual lacking (and from reading the forum other people did to). Didn't work for me to fix ntfs.sys error. I just felt things were too technical (and I am familiar with Bios, Dos, etc.) and had a hard time finding answers. I gave up, downloaded active boot disk, used 2nd computer and was able to boot from USB on my other computer and solve problem about my missing or corrupted ntfs.sys error and both computers working great.

"Excellent Boot CD Creation Utility"
Pros: Very well engineered. Programmer has really spent a lot of time and thought on developing a straight-forward, user friendly app. For anyone knowledgeable enogh to know they need this software, there's no reason they can't get excellent results with it.

Version: BartPE Bootable Live Windows CD/DVD 3.1.10a
Pros: My XP Pro laptop suddenly became un-bootable and I am ashamed to say I had not backed up my data for a couple of months. I tried several live Linux distros and could not see half of the data on the drive that held my important data. I made a BartPE bootable disk and after about an hour it said it was finished. I then rebooted my pc and it went into windows. I was then able to backup my drive. This little program was very easy to use, and a real data saver!
Cons: Absolutely none, worked flawlessly.

"Quite useful Windows XP bootable CD"
Pros: Not yet checked all the features. But at least I can boot from this and access NTFS partitions when my hard disk doesn't boot.

Version: BartPE Bootable Live Windows CD/DVD 3.1.10a
Pros: I like this program (must really like it because I donâ¬Â"t write reviews normally!) I needed to make a bootable dvd to reimage a computer that would boot up but I needed to erase the hdd because the windows version was a step down and the windows setup loader would disable the installer because it thought I didnâ¬Â"t know what I was doing. But I donâ¬Â"t have any floppy disks so I was looking for an alternative. Found it in this one:)and so far it has worked as promised.
Cons: cant find any - its free! no bugs so far!
