Version: Barcode Label Generator 1.5
"Good product and swift support"
Pros: I tried the demo, really what you see is what you get. I bought this software for it can generate various barcodes from a list.
Cons: only online user manual

"Will not work and tech support is non existent."
Cons: Various problems with this program. I could not get anything to print. Would come up with a printer error message, though printer is fine. If actually able to get to print preview screen, paper view was empty , and different error messages would appear. These would lock up program so I had to ctrl/alt/del to exit program. Also, when saving a barcode that was made, it saved as .bmp (only option). However, when opening, only .txt files were offered so unable to open any files made. Very frustrating. So far tech support has been non existent.

"Great interface but lacks output options"
Pros: The product is very easy to use, and very intuitive. It allows the generated code to be any width and any height, you can set the bar density, and it will rotate the code in 90 degree increments. It will also calculate the checksum digit, and allows you to set the human-readable number justification to right left or center or turn the digits off completely. It also supports a wide variety of barcode types, including UPC-A and UPC-E variations as well as postal codes and several others. You can also import a list of codes from a text file and generate them all at once.
Cons: The only output format is a BMP file, and the resolution of that file isn't very good. You can probably overcome this by making the codes over-sized and then converting them to tiff and shrinking them, but you shouldn't have to. The interface itself is not standard - it's a Windows program made to look like a Mac program, but it's not a terribly good likeness. It looks clunky. Even so, this doesn't affect ease of use very much so the interface problems are mostly asthetic.
