Version: Bandwidth Monitor 2
Pros: At first with the themes I was thinking "wow this sucks, the only way to view monthly totals is through the logs." Then I found out how to customize everything, and they make it really simple to do so. Best program I have seen by far.

"Awesome, almost perfect, and free!"
Pros: OK, here's my last 2 days. We have a 12GB limit per month, running 2 LAN PCs, 1 Wireless Laptop, and a PS3. We need to monitor that everyone is getting their fair share of bandwidth. Wanted a program to run off 1 PC and monitor the rest, some very expensive options available, and logging was pretty poor, 1 option seemed OK Ming Network Monitor, however couldnt capture the wireless (without an expensive addon) and seemed pretty inconsistent with the PS3. None others found could even calculate the PS3 usage. (Unless going with more advanced SNMP router). This program (Bandwidth Monitor Lite) does need to run on each computer, however it updates logs every second, and totals them for each day, so no probs if connection restarts, etc. Perfect for what we want.
Cons: If you need security, and dont trust your users, this isnt for you, as they can simply shut down the app. But otherwise perfect!

"Simple easy to use - Just what I needed"
Pros: I was new to home broadband and I initially elected to have the basic "Free" service offered by my phone company (orange) which limits my bandwidth usage to 2gbt per month.
Recently I started to work more from home and I found I was becoming paranoid of hitting that monthly 2gbt barrier. The problem I had was that I was given no method of monitoring my bandwidth usage. Because of this I decided to upgrade to their unlimited package (cost pounds 10pm). I had even started to fill out the phone companys online upgrade from when I thought to install Bandwidth Monitor Lite. After monitoring my usage for a few days I quickly realized that I was comfortably below the sort of usage levels I would need in order to hit my monthly limit (I am only 16-19 meg per day) .
I can honestly say that if I had not installed this product I would have definitely upgraded to the unlimited bandwidth package "just to be on the safe side".
Bandwidth Monitor Lite Edition 2 has stopped me wasting 120 pounds per year purchasing unnecessary bandwidth.
Thank you Rokario!
Cons: None that I can think of!
