"install ran, program would not"
Cons: would not run, even though I used the Vista download link, no contact for support, no method of removal

Pros: Any trouble to read/copy files from somewhat scratched CDs/DVDs with an new, old CD/DVD drive, the process always stopped with a CRC error. I tried Bad CD/DVD Recovery tool and really was surprised it worked very well. It's free, easy to use and perfectly did what I wanted. Best rating!
