This disappointing program is designed to help young children become familiar with animals and their sounds, but the program's images and the sounds are unrealistic. Babimals' basic interface takes over the computer screen and disables all keyboard function except the Crtl Esc keys, which is the only way to exit the program. When toddlers strike any key, an animal image appears and its sound follows. Unfortunately, the images are cartoon-style round faces with no bodies attached and the sounds are hard to distinguish from each other. One of the major drawbacks is that the corresponding animal name is not spoken; only spelled out. Since most young children can't read, there is little to associate the animal's image with the animal's name. Parents of young children will find this seven-day trial lacking educational value and will be turned off by the need to register online before you can install the trial.Publisher's description
From WebOdysseus :An interactive and amusing game from the age of six months, baby discovers the animals and their cries, it explores the images, the colors, and the sounds. It is while pressing on the keys of the keyboard, while moving and while clicking on the mouse that the child reveals the images and the sounds. In a colored and sound environment, your baby will develop his visual and auditive memory.
Version 2.06 adds multilingual support.

Version: Babimals 2.06
"Good game for babies and toddlers"
Pros: Babies and toddlers alike are entertained by this game. It also has a feature built-in so if the baby hits a button, nothing is lost.
Cons: It could have more interactive features and more animals in it.

Version: Babimals 2.06
"My baby loves this basic game."
Pros: Your baby only have to hit a key or press the mouse button/wheel and then a nice animal cartoon picture appears with the corresponding real animal sound. The cool feature is that all the system keys are disabled when the game is running, baby cannot close any background applications or delete files!
