BTV Pro is an application for the Macintosh that allows you to view, capture, and edit video, and create stop-motion animations. It also has advanced capture features such as frame averaging, time lapse, and motion detection. It works with any Macintosh compatible video input source such as video input cards, TV cards, built-in video, USB, DV, and FireWire video sources. Version 5.4 adds improved performance for motion detection capture from a DV source; a new option to add frames to the end of movies when animating; an option to convert a DV stream to a QuickTime movie without a lengthy export process; an option to preview video during a DV stream capture; and more.
