"Does not work, zero support, zero communication!"

Does not hide IP address as advertised. I signed up for the BTguard proxy service. I'm using Win7 on a Lenovo laptop, the software would install but not properly. There is no encryption. I am not a computer newbie, I went through all their troubleshooting steps a few times, it does not work. there is no response from them via email. I now have a paypal case opened but I think I will probably have to resovle this with my credit card company. If you try their service, use a CC so that you will have some recourse when they rip you off.
Summary
Don't waste your time, there has to be a better solution.

Anonymity, great speeds as long as you can find peers.
Cons
Cannot use UDP trackers, Also i cannot get the BT encryption to work so i just use my clients.
Summary
So far this has been a great purchase. I just finished a download that was steadily at 1.6mb/s. If you are having issues, check your trackers list. BT cannot connect to any that start with UDP. You need to find and add HTTP trackers to your list.

First of all I'm a computer professional and have worked for over a decade in Tech Support so I know what I'm doing.
This software installs fine but then does nothing and doesn't hide your IP. It's probably a simple fix and I think I may have found the problem (looks like the license.txt file is missing.
The Big problem then is their lack of tech support. It's been over 48 hours and no response from either their Support or Sales departments. They don't have a phone number to contact. Not very professional. I don't know what they're going to do in a couple weeks when they get slammed with new people signing up.Summary
Might work, might not. Don't pay for more than 1 month up front because it might not work for you.

What a joke -- those that are happy have not checked their internet speed while the BTguard VPN is connected -- my download speed was REDUCED BY 95% -- no kidding!
Summary
Its no wonder why they don't have a trail period -- 3-4 day turn around for tech support -- again -- no kidding! Take your $10 and give it to your favorite charity instead.

Does what it says. It adds protection to what you chose to do. Its well worth the small fee a month if you prefer to not have prying eyes watching you at all times.
Cons
Customer serviced is not fast but they do reply. Maybe the people that have issues with this product are not comfortable figuring out problems on their own but in this day and age you can fix any problem you have with google and taking the time to do it yourself.
Summary
If you have ever received a letter from your ISP this will eliminate that completely. Maybe it is not as fast as some people like but it serves its purpose.

Trouble connecting but once connected, it took my 36mbs DL to 1-2mb. Totally slowed my network to a crawl.
Tried to get a refund and they did not respond.
Only method of contact is a web message to them from their web page that say's 'normal response time 1-3 days' They did not respond in 5 days.
I did a PayPal dispute which went nowhere so I disputed the charge on my CC and will have my money back by tomorrow.Summary
Crap software, Crap company, no way to contact them and they will not contact you.
Stay away!
Went to Astrill and their product is super fast with tons of servers world wide. No bandwidth limit and no DL limit. They keep no logs either.
