Its letting you use it on a notebook and the only one that has a good screen record. The only thing that can make it better is a longer trial or for free. Like screen cast o matic.

- Watch-it mode, which monitors a section of a screen for changes. Extremely useful in all sorts of situations, and not a common feature of screen capture programs.
- Has a lot of customization options for recording quality.
- Is generally pretty simple to use
- Has many ways to record screen (region, full screen, window)Cons
- Very buggy. I often have to load the program up twice in a row to use it properly. Software has been like this for many versions now which does not give me hope that these problems will be fixed.

"Converting quality AWFUL!"

Sound is ok when in AVI and picture quality is ok
Cons
When you convert a file to windows media files, the sound goes incredibly 'crunchy' and awful. The video quality drops to about 10% and it is all blurry and hard to see. I could do with AVI, but the whole reason I want the app is to convert to Media Player files so I can upload to Youtube and put in Movie Maker. So this app is useless for me.
Summary
Does anyone know of any good apps? I have tried countless apps and have numerous problems with all. Debut Professional was no good. I have also tried hypercam and camstudio and one other. All have problems.

Pros
This is a rich, feature-filled software. I have been able to videotape my screen, and then go back later to blur out any personal info that shouldn't be seen.
What has been fantastic is the customer support. At first I was frustrated with how buggy the software was, but Yesim at Customer Support worked quite diligently to help me, even to the point that they rewrote the software to address the problem I was encountering, so you're all welcome! Yep, I'm responsible for this version.Cons
The software really was buggy and kept crashing repeatedly, but the excellent customer support made me feel I wasn't alone in dealing with the issues.

I wouldn't hesitate to use this software!
