"One star is too high a rating!"

    July 27, 2011  |   By Double-birdie

Not one that I can think of.

Everything about this product. Not the least of which is it appears as though you've lost control of your machine!

CNET should be damned ashamed as a conspirator of this scam! And, Phoenix Technologies that uses this scam as a means of not having to provide real customer service is another co-conspirator -- but that's the subject of another complaint.

Once downloaded and installed, you CANNOT uninstall BiosAgent through Programs list or through Control Panel -- it does not appear anywhere! In order to uninstall, you must do a System Restore (make sure you copy to an external drive any work you've done after restore point).

Never got to the point of actually downloading any driver (especially the BIOS driver), because my machine went into a mode of apoplexy as BA+ was doing its scanning thing. It seemed as though I could only use my PC when BA+ would release it for my work.

The customer is correct. BIOS Agent Plus doesn't appear in the program list. The customer simply should just stop the program from running. Then remove the icon from his system. There is nothing to uninstall. Customer also has the ability to run it through the website and doesn't need to download or install anything.
