Version: BIOS Agent 3.52
"Just a scam to make you buy a BIOS that you don't need."
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Program said that my bios was out of date and the company called me wanting to sale me a BIOS update for $55. I check with my computer manufacture (Compaq) which provides free BIOS upgrades and they said that I have the lattest BIOS on my computer. Check your computer manufacture website and they will give you free BIOS upgrades. There is no need to buy a BIOS upgrade unless you have a customed built computer.

Before casting aspersions, try reading what is outlined on the publishers web site. Maybe then you'll understand what they do and how they do it. BTW, they've been around for nearly 20 years. As far as your Compaq: It most likely has an FIC MB with a stripped BIOS.
Simply go to their web site and click on: Who Are We?

These people are scam artists, they advertised a Bios update for $29.99, sent emails saying I had to call them, because they had a question abount my PC. I wrote back saying "ask me in an email", they never did. Finally, I did call spoke to a very rude support person, I then asked to speak to his supervisor to report his employees behavior, this "supervisor" then tried to sell me a Bios that had been advertised for $29, he said it would cost me $59. This place out to be shutdown. Checkpoint used to be a highly respected outfit, I guess they could not keep up with the times and are now scamming to stay in business.
