"Tried this on my Vista. I'm going to keep using it."
Version: B-Alarm 1.0.6
Pros
Pro's far outway the cons. I like the functions. I agree with the editors review.
Cons
1) I had a glitch that was fixed by a uninstall / reinstall.
2) I would like to see a one time occurance alarm option and perhaps an option to type in the whole time in one field (i.e. "10:35a" / "5:30p").Summary
After the glitch I mentioned in the cons, I uninstalled this program and tried some others programs which were very disappointing. I decided to reinstall this because I had an alarm still show up after I uninstalled the program. I decided to reinstall this program, and it allowed me to delete the alarm that I wasn't able to delete before. Now it seems to be working fine and so I'm going to keep using it. If the glitch happens again I'll email the author and give him a chance to fix it.
Yah, I have to change my mind on this. This program has too many glitches to mention. Please don't download it. If you are silly enout to try it, please make a resore point to you computer, and have at least one tea timer program running that also has resore points to protect you ability to remove this without advanced support. If you have already made the mistake of using the program as I have, please note that one install will not be sufficient to remove this program. To remove it you need to think of this program as a virus, as it needs to be treated in the same way to remove. You may need to re upload and install the program and use its own uninstall--but before you do the uninstall, you MUST DELETE ALL ALARM OCCURANCES If you do not you will need to re download and reinstall over again to be able to delete the occurances--then and only then will you be able to remove the program to the point where you can delete the functions of this flake of a program. "Great multifaceted alarm clock program"
Version: B-Alarm 1.0.6
Pros
You can use mp3s for the alarm, you can set up several alarms at once, and you can schedule the alarm to go off on specific days of the week. You can also set it up to give you reminder messages.
Cons
Setting up the alarms is a tiny bit confusing at first. Some of the graphics on the buttons seem a bit off. You can't randomize the song that gets played as an alarm. You have to choose it ahead of time. These are very minor problems however, and at the end of the day this is a FREE program that does everything it's supposed to do.

"Great simple program. Not attractive, but effective"

Different profiles with different time and song settings. There is an option for gradual volume increase, which saves the shock of a loud alarm.

Ugly
