What's new in this version:
Version 22.214.171.12420 brings some fixes and enhancements.
Tried to update my own review (using Firefox, then IE; pop-up blocking disabled) but 'submit' button non-responsive. What up with that?
Anyway, I'm replying to my post as means of an update; wish I could modify the rating; would now give it 4 starts.
Received quick response from Axence support: known problem on Vista SP1. Suggested disabling DEP for executable; did so and app now runs. Producing a great deal of nicely formatted data; will play around with to assess validity. As of today, 47,591 downloads; encourage others to post experiences with Net Tools.
False. Does NOT do what it claims to do and I have given it plenty of chances. Support is not very freindly either and pretty hostile. Perhaps this is because you haven't paid for it, so they can afford to be ignorant.
Minor issues: Sometimes can't "connect" to "RPC" when trying to view the local PC running processes etc. Then Axence "Netmon" uses more than 90% CPU. Netstat tool would benefit from having bitrate/volume of data for each network process. Traceroute tool would benefit from having time graph of when packet loss and high RTT occurred.
