All things considered, this CD ripper strikes us as a very limited offering. Avlord MP3 CD Ripper can only extract songs in the MP3 or WAV formats, neglecting other popular codecs such as OGG and WMA. The interface is modern-looking and easy to understand, but alas, the app cannot retrieve track information from the Web. We also thought the program's ripping speed was a bit slower than many of its competitors. If you opt to output files as MP3s, you can configure the bit rate, but you cannot rip tunes using VBR compression. Additional features include a very basic player and a simple tool for converting WAV files to MP3s (though the app can perform such conversions in reverse). Avlord MP3 CD Ripper does what it promises, but it's certainly not the best tool out there.Publisher's Description

Avlord MP3 CD Ripper is a music utility for ripping MP3 and WAV files from audio CDs and for converting WAVs to MP3s. You also can use it as a CD player. It makes direct digital copies from audio CDs and saves them as MP3 or WAV files. It is extremely easy to use but powerful enough for experts. Just click a button and a CD will be converted to MP3 files. The internal MP3/WAV converter is fast, too.
